As a home schooling mom, I am always interested in products that can help with my children's education. Especially when it can make learning fun.

The Basics

Reading Kingdom is based on the work of Dr. Marion Blank from Columbia University. Dr. Blank is  an expert on reading and language development. The program uses her patented and research based "6-SIM" (Six Skill Integrated Method) technique. The program begins with a "Skills Survey" insuring that the program is right at their level, not re-teaching the concepts they already know. As the child progresses through the program, it is customized to their particular reading needs, creating a unique teaching experience for each child. 

I have 3 children in this age range that need help with reading. I desired to start Little P on the program. Even though he is the oldest, he struggles with reading. It is so frustrating for me because reading is something I enjoy and he does not. 

Reading Kingdom has been wonderful for him. Not only am I seeing progress in his progress reports, but I am seeing him pick up books! Now I am wanting to try my other children on the program!
