Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil Review

I am always interested in healthy cooking. Cooking with oils is a part of life, and I am always interested in trying new recipes and new things.
I have heard about coconut oil for a long time, but honestly....I am not a coconut fan. So I was nervous to try it. I thought it would leave a powerful coconut flavour in my food. I am glad to say I was wrong!

The Basics

Tropical Traditions Gold Label Coconut Oil is made  using old-fashioned, traditional methods that have been used in the Philippines for hundreds of years. The coconut oil is from certified organic sources, and not mass produced, plus it is made by hand.  This benefits families in the rural areas of the Philippines where the coconuts grow. Talk about win win!

Tropical Traditions provides a quality oil great for cooking, baking and more!

I have been using my Coconut Oil in all my cooking since I got it. I am enjoying it so much! There is a pleasant taste, but not one that changes the taste of my food. Rather, it is enhancing my food's flavours! I am noticing less sticking when I am frying, and since it starts off solid, it's easier to add just the right amount.

Check out some recipes at Tropical Traditions web site!

  1. While visiting our friends, they cooked a lot with coconut oil and the food definitely tasted better! I'll have to get me some, thanks for sharing! :)
